Transportation

For all participants of the Boka Marathon who do not have their own transportation, a transportation by bus and boat. Transportation will be available exclusively for half marathon and marathon participants, on December 14, 2025, for a fee of €3 per way for prevoy by bus and €5 for prevoy by boat.

Bus transportation:

• Departure from Kotor to Tivat (race start): 06:00 AM – 07:15 AM
• Return from Kotor to Tivat (after the race ends): 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

How does transportation work?

• Buses will depart gradually – once one bus is full, it will depart, and the next one will begin boarding.
• Important: Don't wait for the last bus so you don't miss the start! The start zone closes at 08:45, and buses will no longer run after 07:30, even if there are passengers.

Boat transport:

• Boat departure from Kotor to Tivat: 17:00

Tip: Plan to arrive early to avoid crowds and secure your spot on the transport.

Tivat - Donja lastva (old road) - Opatovo (Adriatic highway) will be closed to all traffic from 2:45 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.

12/14/2025. Sunday

Old main road from Tivat to Kotor will be closed to all traffic from 08:45 AM to 3:30 PM.

• Ferry line between Lepetane and Kamenari being suspended in the following terms:
  
  Saturday 13.12.2025. in the period from 14.30-16.00
  Sunday 14.12.2025. in the period from 08.30-10.15

Alternative route:

• The main highway from Tivat to Kotor via the Vrmac Tunnel will be open throughout the event., allowing for unhindered vehicle movement.

Parking information

• The organizer does not provide parking for participants who arrive by their own transport.
• We kindly ask participants arriving by car to secure their parking spot in advance, due to expected traffic congestion and road closures on race day.
