It occasionally happens that, near the finish line, parents bring their children with them to cross the finish together. While this is undoubtedly an emotional moment, for the safety of all participants, the rules strictly prohibit the presence of anyone who is not officially registered for the race. In the event of an injury caused by such an unregistered individual (e.g., a trip or fall at the finish line), the organizer would be held responsible for the consequences. Crossing the finish line with family members or anyone who is not a registered runner will result in disqualification.
